WATER BAPTISM
You have decided to follow Jesus!
At Miracle Temple Ministries, water baptism is a sacred act of obedience and devotion, marking a believer’s response to Christ’s call to follow Him. It reflects our obedience to the Great Commission, follows the example set by Jesus Himself, and aligns us with the practice of the early Church. Through baptism, we publicly identify with Christ, declaring that our old life has been crucified and that we now live a new life in Him. It is a powerful, outward testimony of an inward transformation—affirming that we belong to the body of Christ and are committed to walk in the newness of life God has given us.

•It is obedience to Christ’s Great Commission: Matthew 28:19-20 •It follows the example of Jesus. Matthew 3:13-17 •It follows the example of the Early Church: Acts 2:38, Acts 8:46, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:46-48, Acts 16:32-33, Acts 19:4-5 •It confirms identification with Christ: Galatians 2:20 •It is a testimony of the change in your life: 2 Corinthians 5:17
